An exciting first half of 2010
It's been pretty busy around here for us. 2010 has been a year of wonderful shows, and unfortunately, social disaster.
We started the year off with a bang! Going up to Vancouver, BC to take part in the Winter Olympics was just as rewarding as when we went to Beijing in 2008. Providing 7 screens for the Long Jump, Speed Skating, Curling, and Cross Country Skiing to name a few, was a blast! Bringing the action to life for the fans as they cheered on their country was fun for everyone!
Next up on the menu for I-MAG was the 82nd Annual Academy Award show. We created three beautifully con-caved screens, for the main stage. It was a great milestone for us. We are always excited to display the stars but even more so on their special, and most anticipated night. We wanted to develop a viewing experience that was as sleek and elegant as the rest of the theater.
Two months later, disaster hit our home, and the homes of many others. The first weekend in May dropped between "10-"14 of rain in various parts of the Middle Tennessee area. The Nashville floods have impacted a lot of our colleagues and we have been more than happy to lend them a hand in their times of need. Nashville is a community full of kind hearts and good will. We are thankful to be apart of a town that can bounce back as quickly as we have.
The year is almost half way done and here atĀ
we have a lot more in store! We are currently working on Bama Jam, Rocklahoma, Muskegon Summer Celebration, the Deleware State Fair, and a tour with Tool!
